Dr Saying 'hello' Good morning, Mrs Brown.
P Saying 'hello' Good morning, Dr Dent.
Dr Asking about the patient What can I do for you? What's the matter with you? What's your problem today? 
P Telling one's pain I've got a swollen hand. I fell down on it yesterday afternoon. 
Dr Examining / Saying what to do Let me see. Yes, it's hot. I'll put a bandage around your hand. 
P Asking about what to do  Can I work with it? 
Dr Answering /Giving some medicine/a prescription No, you must keep it still. Put this ointment on it three times a day.
