| b) In the first place I'd like to say that I think that this statement is a prejudice. | Als erstes möchte ich sagen, daß ich diese Aussage für ein Vorurteil halte. |
| Let me make quite clear from the start that I have nothing against foreigners. | Ich möchte gleich zu Beginn klarstellen, daß ich nichts gegen Ausländer habe. |

| c) Although there is a lot of unemployment | Obwohl es eine große Arbeitslosigkeit gibt |
| this is only partly true because some Germans don't want to do a lot of jobs | ist dies nur zum Teil richtig, weil einige Deutsche viele Arbeiten nicht machen wollen. |
